The Center of Economic Research and Development (CERD) is a dynamic international research hub and independent think tank located at NUST University’s National Science and Technology Park (NSTP). We focus on practical solutions to national and global challenges, collaborating closely with policymakers to drive real change. Our mission is twofold: conducting policy-relevant economic research and exploring issues such as sustainability, climate change, and economic growth. Through evidence-based research, we aim to uncover the factors influencing people’s lives and provide actionable insights for policymakers. CERD operates as a distributed network of economists and researchers, working together on various policy-relevant projects worldwide.
