With a passion for economic development and a commitment to contributing to sustainable development, her recent and current activities demonstrate her dedication to becoming a proactive agent of positive change in this field. She is an MPhil graduate student at Fatima Jinnah Women University, where she achieved a silver medal during her undergraduate studies in Economics (2017-2021) and a gold medal in MPhil program (2021-2023). Her area of research is economic development, socio-economic well-being, and environmental sustainability. Talking about her experience she worked as a research associate in a collaborative project between Center for Global Public Health-Pakistan (CGPH-P) and Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) on a project called “Localization of SDG-5 in Pakistan”. In this project She has actively engaged in data collection, coordinating, report writing, and paper writing during the period September 2023 to March 2024. This experience has equipped her with practical insights into the complexities of development issues and the importance of a multidisciplinary approach. Additionally, she served as a rapporteur in the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) conference in 2020. Her commitment to research excellence was recognized when she presented paper at the inaugural Sustainable Research Showcase Center (SRRC) at FJWU (2023) and emerged as the winner of the competition. She was among those senior researchers that presented their research work at First International Conference on Breaking Barriers Through Diversity and Inclusivity (BBTDI) (2024). Being a research associate will be able to help her grow further in my academic and professional journey. In conclusion, her research interests, professional objectives, and recent activities place her as a dedicated and qualified development researcher.
